Do you accept walk-ins?

We gladly accept walk-ins on a first come first serve basis. We wish we can accept all the walk-ins that come in, but we are not able to fullfill all walk-ins and usually an appointment is the best option.

How do I book a consultation/appointment?

You can submit your information online via our APPOINTMENTS page or stop into our studio location in person to book a consultation and/or appointment with one of our talented and experienced tattoo artists.

Do I need to leave a deposit?

Yes. Your deposit will come off of the total price of your tattoo when we do it. For instance, if we quote you $200 for your tattoo and you leave a $50 deposit then your balance when you return is $150 plus 6.7% sales tax on the initial price of the tattoo plus our $20 disposable needle fee.

Is my deposit refundable?

NO.

ALL DEPOSITS FOR APPOINTMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Any money deposited with Empire Ink, LLC. including deposits for services provided by Empire Ink and/or its tattoo artists, are non-refundable at the time of deposit. Any deposits may be transferred or apportioned at the sole discretion of Empire Ink, LLC. Deposits made to reserve a particular tattoo artist does not guarantee the requested tattoo artist will provide any services at the time of your appointment.

Appointments can be rescheduled or transferred with 48-hour notice. As always, we value your business.

Do you take appointments over the phone?

NO.

How much does a tattoo cost?

The price of a tattoo will depend on the artist and the piece; however, our shop minimum is $60. If you would like a price quote, we recommend booking a free consultation with the artist of your choice to discuss style, size and placement.

Does Empire Ink do body piercing?

No, we specialize exclusively in tattoo art.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept cash only, however, we do have an ATM machine on site for your convenience.

How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?

Empire Ink’s age policy is 16 years and older. Minors can get tattooed with parental consent and proper documentation. The parent MUST be present and provide a valid state ID. A valid state ID must also be presented by the minor as well as a birth certificate connecting both parties.

How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

If you give a 72 hour (three-day) notice, we can reschedule and transfer your deposit to your new appointment. However, if you contact the shop after the 72 hour (three-day) window or fail to show up for your appointment, you will forfeit your deposit.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Eat well and stay hydrated prior to your appointment. It doesn’t hurt to bring along a snack, especially if you’re prone to passing out. AVOID drinking heavily 24 hours before your appointment, as alcohol acts as a blood thinner and can impact the overall appearance of your tattoo. DO shower prior to your appointment.
